They declared to have whether forecasts for all the locations in europe and after acquired I discovered that the service is not running in Italy!

Errors in weather data. Features removed and locked in in app purchases. Should reduce the cost of in app purchases or include in cost of app.

This app is a must have tool for any amateur astronomer. Very well constructed and the localized weather upgrade is very accurate wherever I am.

So I use this app all the time. I love it quick and easy and super fun to tweak. Is it accurate 100% of the time no, but what weather forecast is 100%. Now here is my but.... I would love to be able to SAVE favorite locations. I have a few locations that are hour and a half apart in opposite directions. I have to go in type in the city and state and zip. Just seems like a favorites would be a good option, BUT there no place to request app enhancements. Also if it is on the site there is no easy way to contact the developers. Again I am looking at it in a mobile device. STILL LOVE THE APP. good job

Its a good for what it does. ESP dealing with weather. How can you get any better... But it would be great if it had an area for when the moon raises and sets with the phase of the moon.

Downloaded this for a buck. However, need to purchase in app Weather Pack and US Astronomy weather for full functionality. Not paying another $6. Deleted.

I dont know what weather service provider is being used by this app, but it is almost always incorrect. I even upgraded to all the bells and whistles in the app. Every weather service I can find is showing clear skies for tonight at "The Plains, VA", yet ScopeNights is showing mostly cloudy and poor conditions. There isnt a cloud in the sky and likely wont be tonight. Same thing last night and conditions were actually excellent although ScopeNights showed the opposite. The app is useless if the underlying data is bad..... I am starting to see a trend with bad forecasts. I almost did not attend the Cherry Springs Star Party this year based on ScopeNights. Thank god I did my own research and the other weather services showed good conditions. ScopeNights showed poor to fair, even a couple of hours before dark each day and the other weather services all showed clear skies and good conditions. It turned out to be some the best weather ever seen at CSSP.

Forecast is only as accurate as the weather data, so I cant knock the app for that. I like that all of the astronomy related data is in one nice to use interface, and the list of dark sky parks is cool.

This app is beautiful and made very well! Dont blame it for being inaccurate because weather patterns are becoming harder and harder to predict. It does very well with the information it is given!

Good idea for an app, just not always accurate. Not sure if the developer has control over the forecast, or if they are dependent on another service. Hasnt been updated for larger iPhones yet. Will up to 5 stars if still supported.

I like the concept of this app, but..... 1) the app does not reflect actual weather forecasts very well. I find the NWS forecasts are more accurate. 2) the app loses my location quite frequently and then says no forecasts are available. Overall, it is a nice concept but is lacking in execution. With some fixes it could be a nice usable app.

Dont bother. Never could connect to get a forecast. It kept telling me to check my wifi connection but wifi works just fine for every other app. Didnt last for five minutes before being deleted.

At first I really liked this app., however, its accuracy is only approximate. Many times it shows stormy nights that are rarely ever correct! I am not impressed and find it virtually unusable as far as pinpoint accuracy is concerned. Just updated app. It shows lows for my city that are not even close to being accurate!!! This in an improved update?!?!? Just bought a new iPhone 6 and app will not work anymore. Like other reviewer, it keeps telling me to check Wi-Fi connection!!! I even checked to see if there was an update to fix bugs but to no avail!!!!

Will give you no data now! There is no support, they just take the money and run!

Forecasts have been right occasionally, but recently all I get is that forecasts are unavailable. Not worth space on my iPad.

I find this app to be as reliable as any other news weather service. I have compared it the local weather news and find it to be similar to what they predict. The good thing with this app is I can see at a glance what the observing possibilities will be without all the media news hype and bull. No app or weather service can predict quick changes in the weather or cloud cover. This app does as well as any other source. I would recommend it.

Its been down over a month now with no update to its problem with the weather service Martin uses. At least we could get a weekly update on status since some of us did pay. Then again, I guess we cant complain over a couple of bucks since we can get the same info for free elsewhere. Was a handy convenience but I see little reason to have it adding to memory so Im deleting it now.

Basic app completely non-functional. Author has failed to make promised fix. App may work with paid upgrade but I have no faith. App should be removed until fixed.

I liked it and it was very helpful when it worked. It no longer gives weather for any location which I have a feeling is an ios8 thing but for now I have to give it a 2 since Im hoping its compatibility
